i was sorry to hear of david carradine’s passing today

i was a young teenager when “Kung Fu” first came on TV back in the 70s

there was nothing like it on television before then and nothing like it since – of course it was unheard of for a top rated prime time TV show to have such a profound spiritual impact like “Kung Fu” did – and many, many lives were literally changed by it

david carradine was definitely one of a kind – some years ago i read his autobiography and was amazed at what a wild and creative spirit he had – for many years his personal life was very wild, too

he was blessed to have even survived his younger days, so full of drugs and alcohol, but his integrity as an artist was never in question

he had a great gift and the world was a better place for it
