as much as i hate doing posts on politics (because politics is such a bunch of bs)

i think this country’s economic situation has been in such a mess

that i need to do at least one post in support of someone who knows the way to fix it

unfortunately i believe Newt and Mitt and Barack don’t know how to do it

or don’t have the testosterone

but Donald Trump does

and unfortunately again, Donald isn’t running

and unfortunately again, the media has done a great job portraying Donald Trump as some kind of celebrity clown

and most of the public bought their smear campaign

anyway, here’s a video where Donald tells it like it is

and how to REALLY get the US economy back on track

not all this nonsense Mitt, Newt and Barack argue about – tax the rich, don’t tax the rich, cut spending, increase spending, make americans tighten their belts and suffer and suffer and suffer – blah, blah, blah, blah

we had another underdog come out VICTORIOUS.

oh well, just couldn’t help myself

it seems to me that one of the great powers that comes from having faith in God is being able to not only love your critics, but also to ignore them

and i personally find that an important thing to affirm in writing

because there are times in all our lives when we all need to develop mental toughness – when we need to look at situation where success does not look promising

and say to ourselves that it doesn’t matter what negative things other people may say or think

i am going to stay focused, positive, and trust in God

i am going to believe that i can do more than others may think i am capable of

that’s a great gift of faith

and as tim tebow is showing to all on a very public stage, it really pays off in the real world

it’s definitely a special film that is not a kid’s film per se, but it is a film about the hopeful, fun-loving, creative child in us all

and the importance of finding one’s purpose and embracing it no matter what the world around you thinks or says

the pace of the film is slow, deliberately so – it is a movie that takes its time to tell its story and lets the characters act and interact – this is most refreshing and welcome as far as i’m concerned – this is the way most movies used to be – they actually respected their audience’s ability to concentrate and focus on the nuances and development of the characters and plot

HUGO is full of love, charm, wonder and inner drama – everything in the movie really serves as a backdrop to exposing the secret joys and trials of the creative spirit

sounds absolutely wonderful – even with the skips and scratches on the old LP record

here’s a few things i’ve learned about life so far

one – if you have the desire inside to accomplish something, then chances are you’ll accomplish it – because from desire comes determination, from determination comes persistence, from persistence comes accomplishment

two – no, you don’t know everything when you’re younger, you just think you do

three – the world is full of deception – don’t be fooled by so-called experts, know-it-alls, eggheads, PHDs, etc… – always think things through for yourself

four – as age increases, one’s ego should decrease – humility should increase – on the surface it seems contradictory, but as humility increases, so does one’s personal power

five – a romantic relationship with someone you love is still the best thing going – better than a great career, a great house, a great anything else

six – God is love and He’s absolutely real – He lets us know it when it’s His time for us to know it

seven – when you’re older, exercise often or pay the price – recovering from an injury is a bitch when you’re older
