This is all thanks to a dense solar wind stream
currently buffeting our Earth’s magnetic field.
And although solar winds can produce such magnificent
sights such as these, they can also produce some
uncomfortable symptoms to human beings.
So if you’ve felt out of sorts more often than
you’ve been used to feeling this year,
you may be sensitive to the high level
of solar activity in 2012.
Especially since our planet’s magnetic field
is weaker than usual and therefore
gives us less protection.
